#10 Spotted Pony

My name is Lacey and I live in the boonies north of Spokane. I have always loved horses, but I didn’t pursue working with and riding horses until I turned 30. At that point I jumped right in, bought a horse, and spent the next four years riding casually with a handful of handling/riding lessons peppered in.

In December of 2015 I decided to get more serious about riding and increasing my skill level, so I moved my horse to Blue Haven Stables and have been taking weekly riding lessons there since. Over the past 2 years I have had an eventful and rewarding horse life; especially this past 7 months with my amazing, 10 year old Saddlebred gelding, Topper. I finally know what it is like to have a truly awesome and well trained horse, and boy does it make all the difference! He is a sure footed, mindful, trail boss who is up for anything. This year I aim to trail ride, trail ride, trail ride, and do a 25 mile endurance ride. I just want to have fun and see how many miles I can get under my belt.
